Fran Downey-Smith

For the first time, as a ‘matured lady’, I attended various art classes in New Orleans over the past few years, while resident there. I was exposed to working with acrylics, pastels and oil and techniques such as pouring, mosaics, mixed media and painting from a picture. Artistic expression comes from within. It is a way of honoring God, our Father, who is the greatest creator. He made us each with a different fingerprint, because His creativity is infinite! So let’s create… it’s a form of worship! Thanks to Sherridean for encouraging me to see my work as valuable and worthy to be shown!

Hazel Alleyne

Hazel is known for her dramatic presentations at People's Cathedral church, she is also a musician, sculptor, art educator, and mural painter. She has exhibited her work both in Barbados and internationally.

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Entertainment Management at Barbados Community College. She also works as a Teacher’s Assistant for theatre and is involved in social media management. Njeri interned as the second assistant to the director and storyboard artist on a film.
